A quick trip to LA & Vegas

This is a bit of a back dated blog as our trip to LA & Vegas was in 2018, which is a fair while ago. However, I just have so many photos from the trip, some I did share on my Instagram pages but I wanted to share them on here too! Of course, someone who has been more recently may have slightly better up to date recommendations but our trip was very touristy and so most of my recommendations are still relevant.

We had 7 days to explore LA and we managed to fit in a trip to Vegas for 24 hours as an extra too. So of course, we turned it into a road trip and went Death Valley stopping off at a few spots on the way back to see some highlights. In our week we managed to fit a day in Universal Studios, a day at Disney, a hike to see the Hollywood sign, dins on Santa Monica Pier and some of the best LA photo spots of 2018!

Just incase you were planning a trip, we hired our car from a standard company, like enterprise, just at the airport – we pre-booked and it was actually pretty reasonably priced! The hotel in LA was The Garland (it was loveeeeely) and then in Vegas we went for the MGM Grand which was also fab. Would recommend both! It’s definitely possible to get really nice accommodation without spending ridiculous amounts or staying in super influencer-y places.
